About the method
Machine selection is treated as an application question: define the route, hold trial conditions steady, inspect pickup and document the maintenance path before making a commitment.
“A model comparison becomes useful only after the test boundary is explicit.”
Factory Cat content is organized around the evidence a facility team can collect without inventing performance claims: dimensions from the route, observed soil, the available cleaning window, controlled trial notes and the current product manual. This approach avoids treating theoretical area rate as completed work.
Setup, turning, refill travel, dumping and cleanup remain part of the shift even when they do not appear in a simple width-times-speed calculation. The result is a more useful discussion between operations, procurement, maintenance and the equipment representative.
Evidence stations

Working papers
These are evidence categories, not claims that a particular Factory Cat model meets an unstated requirement. Current documents must be obtained for the exact model and serial context.
Use the controlled document to verify dimensions, rated capacities, warnings, inspection points, charging requirements and permitted operating conditions.
Define area boundary, surface, soil, brush or pad, chemical, solution setting, operator, speed convention and timed work blocks before the run.
List daily checks, wear items, service intervals, qualified-person tasks and the serial-specific process for confirming compatible replacement parts.
One record can connect operating need, safe trial conditions and lifecycle support questions.
